Folks, Do we have any documentation or policies on how to convert an existing package (in this case logwatch) from using cron to using systemd timers?
While it isn't too hard to fix up the spec file, the main thing I'm worried about is how to make sure systemd is enabled when I remove the cron.daily entry, as most users on upgrade would just expect it to happen. And related to that, on the first install, will the systemd timer be enabled and started, or does that have to be performed by the user, as previously you just dropped the file in cron.daily and it would then go?
