If you could re-run the build and send us the logs that would help. The rust implementation is not feature-complete, so the python implementation is not a port. Also , in general, this should explain the status of the various implementations: https://magic-wormhole.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ecosystem.html if this is unclear, please open an issue and let us know.
