I know this is not you're looking for, but you can use the zswap-cli package to manage zswap kernel module.

You can edit the /etc/zswap-cli/zswap-cli.conf configuration file to set any supported kernel module options, and then enable the systemd unit:

sudo systemctl enable --now zswap-cli.service
