I know that these sorts of matters are hard to deal with, but this entire
thing comes across more as something from the mythological Star Chamber
than something I would expect from Fedora.

Yes, Peter is hard to get along with at times, and yes he can be brusque,
pushy, and grumpier than any mule or cow I have had the 'pleasure' to work
with, and I have been at the tail end of his tongue multiple times over the
years in Fedora. Yet in all those years, I have also known that his work
has been in service of the parts of the project he has been given charge
of, be it architecture or package sets. Of the many people I have seen
problems with 'proven packager' he has been the least likely I would
consider 'dropped from Proven Packager'.

In the future, I would hope that these matters are dealt with in a public
setting or make sure that items are published before you announce
judgement. There have been a lot of things in the past that tested my
temper in Fedora, but this is the first thing that has truly broken my
trust.
