Dne 09. 11. 24 v 7:44 odp. Martin Gansser napsal(a):
Hi,

iI have released a new version of the mediaplayer guayadeque [1] and migrated
the license to SPDX.
However, I am not sure if this is correct.
Can someone with experience have a look at the spec file ?

Regards
Martin

Technically it is correct:

 $ license-validate -v 'GPL-3.0-or-later AND BSD-3-Clause AND LGPL-2.0-or-later AND LGPL-2.0-or-later WITH WxWindows-exception-3.1'
Approved license

You correctly ignored MD5 part because of https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/legal/misc/#_licensing_of_rsa_implementations_of_md5

But not sure where you got: LGPL-2.0-or-later AND LGPL-2.0-or-later WITH
WxWindows-exception-3.1
It is mentioned in defconfig/guayadeque.appdata.xml but not anywhere else. And
no file mantion that in header.
You may want to open upstream issue to discuss this.

On the other hand, in the same file is license of that metadata CC0-1.0 that
should be mentioned in license tag.

BTW here is full scan using scancode that is much better than licensecheck: https://miroslav.suchy.cz/fedora/spdx-reports/guayadeque.html

I got it using:

scancode --license --license-references --html /tmp/scan.html -n8 .
