So you want to replace Fire Sans/Mono with Fire GO font right?
Given that, if you are sure, both Fire families and Fire GO are
metrics compatible, you can add a substitute for backward
compatibility.  See

https://pagure.io/fonts-rpm-macros/blob/main/f/templates/fontconfig/substitution-font-template.txt
for some description.

Also, from the packaging side, you may want to add a line of
"Provides: font(firesans)" to allow packages who require Fire Sans for
example to find it out.
