But changing the baseline to -v3 throws out a LOT of hardware from
Fedora compatibility.  And the overall level of effort required to
support multiple builds for a targetted set of packages where it can
help is not that high, compared to the level of effort required to
create and support rebuilding a wide range of packages and producing a
release.
