But I do not want to get the messages by e-mail. I want to use the one 
protocol actually designed for discussions, NNTP. Gmane allows following 
mailing lists with that protocol. It works great. But it only works with 
real mailing lists, not with the Discourse developers' attempts at emulating 
the user experience.
