I want to thank you all for the feedback. Everything was already mentioned in the discussion so I am not going to dig into details again. Just a quick summary for anyone who wants TL;DR for this thread:
- I am not going to implement the original proposal or any variation of it - Instead, I am going to automatically open an issue in the package-sponsors tracker for new contributors after they receive fedora-review+ on their first ticket.
