How is the LED driver the important part? Are the IPU6 and IVSC drivers being upstreamed? Also, the software-controlled LED was a bad design for obvious security reasons. The hardware should have been designed such that there is no way to power on the image sensor without turning on the LED. I don’t care if the open source userspace is less optimized than the proprietary binary.
