Before spending any significant amount of time on this, it's worth pointing out that version is from the KDE Plasma 5.27.0 Beta. The final version has been built already on Rawhide and the official release from upstream is happening on Tuesday. Does it help if I build Plasma 5.27.0 on a F38 sidetag so we can investigate if the issue persists?
