sudo dnf groupinstall "Development Tools" "Development Libraries"
I got this error after watching a video tutorial about Vala and GTK+ on ubuntu
where this error does not appear.
This is error:
[catafest@localhost ~]$ valac test.vala --pkg gtk+-3.0
[catafest@localhost ~]$ ./test
(test:11980): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: 15:53:25.638: g_value_set_boxed:
assertion 'G_VALUE_HOLDS_BOXED (value)' failed
Which version of Fedora are you using? I tried these steps and I don't
get that error. (I didn't do the groupinstall, but I did have to
install vala.)
