Right, not saying this is a viable long-term solution. But having
everything being GRUB, *plus* using protective MBR, would allow us to
not force people to reinstall when we finally kill off legacy BIOS.

* yes, we still need to figure out how to convert existing systems to
* protective MBR plus GPT, but at least we won't be creating new legacy
* installs that will require reinstallation
