There are still some people who don't want some cloud to live their
life for them. If anything would make software RAID irrelevant, it
would be ZFS and BTRFS, not clouds or devops. But the licensing
situation makes ZFS painful, and BTRFS seems to take forever to mature,
so it should be expected that many people will choose software RAID
instead.
