This sort of analogy is not helpful at all. That's not what I'm doing. I'm just giving advice based on my own experience writing books and articles on super complicated material, and having a fairly good grasp of GRUB behavior in Fedora, along with many conversations with Fedora's bootloader team. It's strictly an opinion to fellow doc writers, to help them assess where to put their own limited resources.
