IRC isn't going to go away in a day/week/month. We don't even have our own homeserver setup yet for matrix. So, I think we are just going to have to move the irc side, bridge to matrix and slowly encourage people to move over. It's going to be years at least before we could look and see if IRC isn't worth bridging anymore. IMHO. kevin
