It looks like, in openQA and manual VM testing at least, since kbd- 2.4.0-3.fc35 landed in Rawhide, all characters are invisible at the console. They're actually there, you just can't seem them. To work around this, downgrade to kbd-2.4.0-2.fc34 from F34.
