I really like Debian's "Standards-Version" field
(https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-controlfields.html#s-f-standards-version)
in that context; it does not tell what changes in the guide-
lines have occured, but it makes it unambiguous what guide-
lines the package /should/ comply with.
