I looked into this a little bit, and it appears that the primary concern is
cross-site scripting attacks, not a legal separation. See

I am not a lawyer, but it's my understanding that having a different domain
name doesn't actually provide any particularly strong legal shield. But, my
amateur lawyer-opining on the devel list isn't really very valuable -- if
you have a concern, please bring it directly to le...@fedoraproject.org and
