Note the .treeinfo files point to $ROOT/images/pxeboot/{vmlinuz,initrd.img}.
Tthese paths are also referenced by the libosinfo database, and used
for automating VM installs from virt-install/virt-manager/GNOME Boxes,
and probably more.  IOW please be very wary of eliminating the
images/pxeboot directory as it could trigger a cascade of brokeness.
