IME, works well in a variety of hypervisors; atm, my 'exploration' of Fedora32 
is running solely in VirtualBox VMs ... booted UEFI.

That said, their a lots of providers that have the capability, but do not 
enable/support UEFI boot.

E.g., Linode hosts KVM (and, iiuc, still some Xen), but does _not_ support UEFI 
boot; as of a few weeks ago, there's no plans/commitment for that changing 
anytime soon.
