But I will say that Dell was the first major OEM to ship Linux and has been shipping RH(E)L on Dell Precision continuously for 21 years (in addition to Ubuntu for 12 continuous years). You're in good hands with Dell if you choose to buy their products. And if you're a ThinkPad person, well clearly the choice is easier!
