I'm not sure about your friends, but my friends don't call things I do "crap", if they find something I've done isn't to their taste they use better words to express their dismay. this isn't about a CoC issue it's just about being nice and providing constructive criticism and I'm sorry there is nothing in "looks like crap" that is constructive.
