From my experience, I know that many of my contributions are triggered by improving something that affects me. Therefore I submitted patches to several Fedora Infra services when I was doing more packaging or rel-eng work. As soon as pagure is not used anymore for Fedora's dist-git, at lot of motivation to contribute it for Fedora contributors is gone. I hope it will still be easy to contribute to the future dist-git solution for interested Fedora contributors.
