I'd just go ahead and file a FESCo issue. Filing such an issue should not be treated as a "hostile act" or so but just as a genuine attempt to contribute. Unfortunately sometimes maintainers "disappear" but the FESCo process is a good one to ensure new maintainers can help out. In general I feel as long as you are working in good faith no one will blame you even if there was a premature "non-responsive maintainer" bug. Thanks again for your work in Fedora.
