No, this doesn't mean it'd be possible to ship a release with broken
installer image. Just that it wouldn't need to work from CD/DVD doesn't
make it broken.

Similarly like others said for optical media testing, if you think it's an
issue, you're (or anybody else) more than welcome to help with validation
testing of other spins.
