I'm against the change as- is, but I could support this. I use optical media 
extensively for reasons beyond my control. It's also useful for virtual CD on 
hardware via IPMI/iDRAC, depending on the vendor.

I'll try to get back to help fill out the test matrix as I had done years ago.
