I like this idea. Would bootloader projects be willing to use a single canonical location and format for this indication? On the other hand, if I don't want to use the Fedora GRUB bootloader, why do I have that package still installed? If I were using the Ubuntu bootloader, or systemd-boot, I would uninstall all the GRUB stuff to ensure it's not being used, accidentally or otherwise.
