Hi all, I am working o a project that sets up packages on the cloud. I need to find a package manager that can be customized, like feature to install dependancy on a remote machine(cloud instance).
like if i want to install Package1 which needs pkg1-dep1, pkg1-dep2, pkg1-dep2-dep1, pkg1-dep2-dep3, so on. i want to know if installing a package on a system, with some hack would remotely install a dependancy pkg(and its deps) is possible? example would be, if i want to install sugar CRM, i need seperate machines to maintain seperate tasks, like mysql in one machine, apache server in 1 machine, etc. Is it possible in rpm package manager to handle such customizations & dependancy requirement?
