Upstream has just released 2.0 RC1 and I'm working on test builds. I don't expect much to change at this point as they run master in production so it's pretty stable.
It is a SONAME bump so once the 2.0 GA release happens I plan to update Rawhide only at this time and rebuild dependencies unless there's a need for it to land in F29. There are several packages that will need to be rebuilt but I believe Blender is the biggest consumer of OIIO for the Cycles rendering engine. Thanks, Richard
