Like Jason, I have had other projects move away from mailing lists, and that now means I have to make a concious effort to 'poll' their system, rather than having a push notification. Needless to say, I don't follow them any more, and I don't know what's happening there. Push means I find out whenever something happens. If nothing happens... then that's OK with me, I'm not bothered. But to be constantly polling for 'is there anything new... is there anything new' (whether there is or not), is just plain inefficient. I hope that doesn't happen to Fedora too. [Just my 2 cents worth.]
