Uh oh.  I just added both a BR and an R from sagemath to python2-notebook a
couple of days ago, because sagemath does require it.  Can we bring it
back?  I can help maintain it if maintenance cycles are an issue.

Sagemath upstream is working on converting to python 3, but they aren't
quite there yet.  In the meantime, we have to keep all of its dependencies
available for python 2.

I probably didn't think twice about the original message, because it was
sent before I started digging into sagemath's dependencies.  Sorry about
any hassle this causes.
