Hi everyone I found that package "mypaint" is almost abandoned. Upstream has released several new stable versions. There are open tickets on bugzilla, which hang without attention (one is almost two years old):

I'm writing this message to contact Christoph and propose my help maintaining the package, and if he is not going to continue to package new versions of the mypaint, I can take over it. -- Sergey Avseyev
