So just about all tests failed with this compose. This is apparently
due to a kernel bug specific to VMs using the virtual 'video adapter'
that openQA uses ('std' / 'vga'). I can reproduce it by booting a
20171121.n.0 image in such a VM locally; if I change the VM to use
'qxl' or 'virtio' graphics it boots fine.

I'm hoping kernel folks can fix this quickly, otherwise we'll have to
tinker around with different graphics adapters in openQA to get useful
test results again.
