LWN article (a year old): https://lwn.net/Articles/670062/

'DomTerm' is an embeddable terminal emulator written in JavaScript,
while 'domterm' is a command-line application that based on DomTerm.
DomTerm has lots of interesting features (enabled by using a browser as
a GUI toolkit), while also being a solid traditional terminal emulator
(it does a pretty good job on vttest).

qtdomterm is a subpackage, combining DomTerm with qtwebengine.

DomTerm is being actively developed; I'm currently working on "paging"
(combining the functionality of 'tail -f' with a simplified 'less').

domterm uses the libwebsockets package. Version 2.2 of the latter is
preferable, and has been approved:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1422477

Packaging domterm will be helpful for updating the 'kawa' package,
as it optionally makes use of domterm (and jline3, recently approved).
