If I have to run Debian to use the software I need/want (for example, as
others already mentioned in this thread, I use Teamviewer and Steam),
then I'm not going to run Fedora as well.

It isn't about 32-bit hardware, it is about 32-bit software.  I'd love
to be running a pure open source system, but in the real world, I can't.
