Hi, A quick heads up that we've fixed the appstream generator that we use in Fedora and it now processes appdata files in /usr/share/metainfo as well. I know some packages in Fedora have been patched to use /usr/share/appdata instead; we now process both directories and it's no longer necessary to patch this.
