Yes, please look here for similar patches, how this API change needs to be reflected in the sources: https://github.com/patch-exchange/openssl-1.1-transition Basically you have to use EVP_CIPHER_CTX_new() and ..._free() to allocate and deallocate the structure and use only pointer. For all the structure members that should be used publicly there are accessor functions ..._get..() and ..._set...().
