I agree. Time in testing is required to catch such issues.

Honestly, one week in testing probably wouldn't have caught this --
Richard didn't notice until three weeks later -- but there's no chance
if updates keep flying by in just a day or two. I believe Ubuntu
requires all updates wait two weeks to mitigate this risk.
