Blender 3D is now updated to the latest upstream starting from Fedora 24 and up.
https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/blender The bad news is Fedora 23 and EPEL 7 and down which will not get that update due to python3 requiring 3.5 version as minimum[1][2] missing on those release. Please test the update to make sure there is no further issue.
