Hello,

I would like to share our progress and plan for moving Zeppelin's New UI
notebook from Angular to React.

A micro-frontend setup lets Angular and React run side by side while we
move one page at a time.
Users can already opt in to React for the Configuration table and Published
Paragraph view.
That option does not cover the notebook page yet, which still uses Angular.
We added Shared Notebook Core, a layer designed for Angular and React to
share notebook state management and command handling.
We verified its read-only path with real notebook data in an Angular view
used only for internal verification.
The React notebook adapter has been tested with test data.
Its connection to real notebook data has not yet been verified.

Next, we will connect React to real notebook data and compare its read-only
behavior with Angular.
That evaluation will determine whether to proceed with editing, saving,
execution, and collaboration.
We will offer "?react" for the notebook only after the required features
and behavior, performance, accessibility, and rollback checks pass.
Angular will remain the default; making React the default is a later step
after other New UI routes are validated.
