I’ve tried with building my own Docker image of Zeppelin, and using the apache/zeppelin:0.9.0 image:
docker run -p 8080:8080 --rm -v $PWD/logs:/logs -v $PWD/notebook:/notebook -e ZEPPELIN_LOG_DIR='/logs' -e ZEPPELIN_NOTEBOOK_DIR='/notebook' --name zeppelin apache/zeppelin:0.9.0 The /logs directory remains stubbornly empty! I wanted to confirm with others that they see the same issue before opening a JIRA.
