As discuss under
[YUNIKORN-2061|http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YUNIKORN-2061], when there
are a lot of applications and allocations, the API response size becomes quite
large (e.g., 50,000 pod would result in a 30MB response). It leads to longer
response time due to the data transmission.
To address this issue, we can use compression. Gzip is a good solution because
it can be automatically decoded by the browser.
