Sebb resolved WHIMSY-382. ------------------------- Resolution: Fixed Attachments are no longer dropped from the YML file when an email has been processed. It is now possible to display a clickable list of deleted emails [https://whimsy.apache.org/secretary/workbench/YYYYMM/deleted] also all emails can be shown using [https://whimsy.apache.org/secretary/workbench/YYYYMM/all|https://whimsy.apache.org/secretary/workbench/YYYYMM/deleted] > Allow Secretary deleted/processed workbench emails to be recovered > ------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Key: WHIMSY-382 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WHIMSY-382 > Project: Whimsy > Issue Type: Improvement > Reporter: Sebb > Priority: Major > > If an email is processed incorrectly or incompletely, it can be useful to > reprocess it. > There is currently a way to display emails that have been deleted > (workbench/yyyymm/deleted), but this can only show emails with attachments. > However processing an email normally removes the attachments, perhaps to save > space in the YAML file. > Once an email has been displayed in the workbench, it can be reparsed to > generate the attachments. > Whilst it would in theory be possible to display all the entries, regardless > of attachment status, this would make it harder to find the correct entry. > One way round this might be to store a marker to record which entries > originally had attachments. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010)
