Craig L Russell commented on WHIMSY-377: ---------------------------------------- Sometimes the original ICLA has an unusable email address which means that it cannot be used to create an account. So the invited committer submits a proper ICLA. Now what? There is no way for Secretary to give the PMC and/or ICLA submitter any clue that all is well. And it it trivial for Secretary to fill the requested-id and vote-link and push the magic button. This should not be controversial. > Filing a second ICLA should allow secretary to request a new account > -------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: WHIMSY-377 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WHIMSY-377 > Project: Whimsy > Issue Type: New Feature > Reporter: Craig L Russell > Priority: Minor > > Filing a second ICLA is needed for a change of address or email or ... > whatever. > If the sender is also invited to become a committer, secretary should be able > to request an account, just like an original ICLA. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.1#820001)
