Roy T. Fielding commented on WHIMSY-348: ---------------------------------------- I can't see the form anymore because I am a proxy, but Sebb is correct on the reason. I believe 3 years is the maximum allowed in Delaware. I don't think our form needs to specify that at all, since we are only asking for the next immediate meeting. Our form should be clear about what it asks, so I agree with Greg. The three years is more applicable to trusts. We could have a separate form for long-term proxy designations, but I think that would be a little too lazy. > Alter what proxies are listed, that are assigned to "you" > --------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: WHIMSY-348 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WHIMSY-348 > Project: Whimsy > Issue Type: Wish > Environment: proxy.cgi > Reporter: Greg Stein > Priority: Minor > > The proxy form says that it remains in force for (3) years. > The template states "act on my behalf" for $Meeting. > Which is correct? If the former, then I think the "who you proxy for" should > list *all* proxy forms that fall within that 3 year period. ie. Whimsy would > look back at prior years, and include additional lines for the cut/paste > attendance call. > If the latter is correct, then we should eliminate the (3) years language, > IMO. > -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.4#803005)
