I agree we definitely need a glossary.
Whatever word(s) are chosen need to be fixed, and not changed again.
If a motion is not passed at a meeting, it might not result in postponement.
This could make it difficult to word the minutes if the only choice is
'postpone'.
What the reader (and Whimsy) needs is an unambiguous way to determine: did the
motion pass or not?
So maybe it would work to define a standardised pair of sentences to express
the result.
