I'll openly admit that I've never understood the purpose of that file.
Apparently, it was set up in anticipation of the treasurer needing this
information in order to prepare 990s, but to the best of my knowledge it hasn't
been used for that purpose, at least not in recent history (as in, since I was
Treasurer, on).
