Confirmed. One line test case (anybody on the infrastructure team can run this):
ssh whimsy4.apache.org /usr/local/bin/ruby2.4.1 /srv/whimsy/tools/testmail.rb This program will echo back the mail that was sent so that you can see the headers. The email will be sent to you at your primary email address, and the from address will be your apache.org address. - Sam Ruby P.S. I wrote this tool years ago for exactly this reason.
