Sam Ruby commented on WHIMSY-130: --------------------------------- Include or exclude? /home/apmail/lists/apache.org/security /home/apmail/lists/apache.org/security-coordination-private /home/apmail/lists/apache.org/security-team Note: "not affiliated with the ASF" is more likely "no known affiliation with the ASF". People tend to have multiple email addresses, and don't always register them using id.apache.org or other means. Also, there are variations in spelling that may need to be accounted for (some email providers allow you to add characters that won't affect routing, but will allow you to distinguish the sender). There are also archivers (e.g., ponymail) to be considered. Initial implementation is likely to show a list of mailing lists, and if you click on one you will see analysis of that list. If performance is acceptable, the original list may be able to indicated which lists may have problems worth looking into. > Add a security@tlp.a.o subsriber audit report > --------------------------------------------- > > Key: WHIMSY-130 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WHIMSY-130 > Project: Whimsy > Issue Type: Wish > Components: Mail > Reporter: Mark Thomas > > The security team has been thinking about requirements for security@tlp.a.o > mailing lists and one of the outputs was the expectations regarding > subscribers. We realised it would be helpful to be able to audit these. With > that in mind,m we have the following feature request: > A new page that reports an audit of all security@tlp mailing lists > - member only accessible > - list all security@tlp lists > - list, highlighted in green, subscribers to the list that are project > committers or ASF members (maybe distinguish between the two?) > - list, highlighted in amber, subscribers to the list that are ASF > committers but not of the current project > - list, highlighted in red, subscribers to the list that are not > affiliated to the ASF > Happy to answer any questions. > Thanks! -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.4.14#64029)
